Many people find themselves at one point or another in their lives in way over their heads. For different people, there can be different results of a burnout. Some people may find themselves completely losing control and turning to drugs and alcohol, while others simply need to take some time to readjust and focus on themselves.
Regardless of whether it’s a heavy result or one that’s less intense to handle, they both are a loss of time at work and overall exhausting on your lifestyle and those who love you. Rather than letting yourself get to this point why not recognize the biggest triggers and try to avoid them happening altogether.
When people try to bury their feelings as opposed to dealing with them head on this can lead to depression, anger, and eventually a burnout. Repressing your feelings isn’t only bad for your mental health but it also takes its toll on your physical health.
People who don’t deal with their feelings and process them aren’t living an authentic life and therefore will start to feel as if there is a void in their life. This will only lead to issues which ultimately lead to the dreaded burnout. Therefore, finding someone to talk to, perhaps a professional who can help you work through your feelings is the best way to make sure you are properly dealing with your emotional process.
Not Enough Rest
At the end of the day, everyone needs a proper night’s sleep. Without sleeping properly and resetting your body for the next day you will find yourself sluggish and far from on top form. People who sleep less than 7 hours a night are more prone to depression, arguments, and ultimately are much less productive.
Make sure that you try to get in at least 8 hours of sleep a night to ensure that you have the stamina to make it through your day.
Lack Of Support
Ultimately only you can give yourself the approval that you need in order to be confident in yourself. However, everyone needs a support system.
It’s human nature to need to turn to others at times and have a shoulder to lean on in a community setting. Without support and those who love us, life would be a lonely experience. Therefore, people who don’t have a group of people in their lives who they can turn to tend to be much more prone to burnouts.
People need to have an outlet which they can transfer their excess energy into. If you bottle all of your expression up than you will be like a pressure cooker and boil over until you have a meltdown.
Therefore, try to find something that serves as a form of expression for your feelings.
